On a vibrant evening in Jaipur, Raj Mandir Cinema made history by hosting India’s first-ever Hindi dubbed premiere for a Jurassic film Jurassic World: Rebirth. As the franchise rolled out global premieres, India added its own cultural touch with a celebration rooted in language and legacy.
The iconic venue was transformed into a Jurassic wonderland with immersive dino installations, interactive zones, and themed photo booths capturing the spirit of the film. From the dramatic tunnel entry to a buzzing media zone, the experience went far beyond just a screening.
Hosted by digital stars Nagma Mirajkar and attended by some big influencers and celebrities like Ashish Chanchlani and more, the evening turned out to not just be a premiere, but a celebration of how global stories can connect deeply with local audiences.
Adding an emotional layer to the evening was Ashim Samanta who is the voice behind the franchise in India. Having directed the Hindi dubbing for the original Jurassic Park in 1994 and now Rebirth, his presence brought a sense of full circle. “It’s a fabulous film. The experience was lovely and when it’s a good film, we get excited. What’s special about Jurassic World: Rebirth is how gripping and exciting it is! Just when you see a dinosaur in the jungle, one comes from the sky or out of the water. It’s dangerous, unimaginable and full of surprises.”
Also joining the celebration was Denzil Dias, Vice President and Managing Director at Warner Bros. Discovery India. “India has always been an enthusiastic market for the Jurassic franchise. Hosting the first-ever Hindi-dubbed premiere of Jurassic World: Rebirth at Raj Mandir is not just a celebration of cinema, but a testament to how global stories can be beautifully localized. It’s a moment of pride to see the Indian audience experience this in their own language, at such a culturally significant venue.”
The Jaipur premiere was more than a red carpet event. It was a landmark moment where Hollywood met Hindustani, where dinosaurs roared in Hindi, and where cinema transcended borders. With Raj Mandir as the backdrop and fans at the heart, _Jurassic World: Rebirth_ didn’t just play on screen, it came alive.
