Jamun, premiered on Eros Now, shows despite what ever be the circumstances, always face the challenges to overcome and relish the moments which will never ever come again.

The White Tiger Review – Adarsh Gourav Roars With Infectious Style And Attitude

Directed and written by Gaurav Mehra, Jamun focuses on the beautiful relationship and strong bond between a father and a daughter which probably can never ben described in words. There is always special feeling and support between the two which stand tall at the time of distress. This is where Jamun scores. The beautiful chemistry and even superbly acted by Raghubir Yadav and Shweta Basu Prasad is something which will bring tears to your eye.

Gullak Season 2 Review – A Piggybank Of Brilliant Direction, Clever Writing And Superb Acting Will Sweeten Up Your Mood

Jamun does suffer from melodrama in between but what I loved was the climax scene where Jamun Prasad gives his best effort to see the sunshine amid the beautiful sky. Technically, Jamun is a very simple film with no glossy and candy floss sets and decent camera work supported with a run-it-through background score.

Jamun belongs to Ragubir Yadav and Shweta Prasad Basu. Shweta Prasad Basu would surprise you with natural performance as if she is actually suffering from dysfunctional issue. The charming actress emotes expressively and her bonding with Raghubir Yadav is phenomenal. Coming to Raghubir Yadav, he is simply mind-blowing. After Panchayat and Ghoomketu last year, Ragubir Yadav gives yet another splendid performance. Sourabh Goyal was good as Dr. Kewal while Sunny Hinduja was fine.

Jamun encourages you to live life to the fullest despite facing any circumstances. Very good attempt – 3.5 /5
