The trailer of Sanjay Gupta’s upcoming directorial, Mumbai Saga, released earlier today. The film marks the first collaboration between actors, Emraan Hashmi and John Abraham, and will see the powerhouse duo pitted against each other against the backdrop of a gory Bombay. The trailer has already generated a whole lot of excitement and intrigue among fans who cannot wait to watch the actors locking horns and packing solid punches on the big screen.

The star-studded trailer launch of the action entertainer which was held earlier today grabbed attention from many. Fans of Emraan were elated when John could not stop raving about his co-actor. Talking about collaborating with, John said, “Emraan is very intense. He is a very good human being and for me, that is the most important thing. I would like to work with him again because not only am I a fan of his as an actor, but even as a human being, he is absolutely fantastic. The way he has done his role and his job in this film, it is absolutely outstanding. I’m very happy and fortunate to have worked with him.”

John went on to share an interesting anecdote that made him believe that Emraan has the most number of chartbusters to his credit. “Emraan is probably one of the most fantastic co-stars you can have. I’ve always been a fan of him for the films he has done. Once I remember driving from Chandigarh to Delhi and I was looking for my songs. The only songs I found were Emraan Hashmi volume one and volume two. I realised that Emraan has got the most number of hit songs than all the heroes put together in this industry,” John added.

Mumbai Saga will see Emraan back in his element. Ever since he marked his debut with Footpath in 2003, he has carved a niche for himself as an actor who is synonymous with dark and gritty content and characters. In the film that is slated for a theatrical release on April 19, he will be seen playing a no-nonsense cop who rises from the ghettos of yesteryear Bombay and sets out on a journey to stop a notorious gangster played by John from wreaking havoc in the city.

It would indeed be interesting to see the scorching dynamic between two of the biggest action stars!
