In the 11th match of the Indian Premier League, Delhi Capitals will be facing Punjab Kings at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai at 7:30 PM IST. DC and PBKS have acquired the fourth and seventh spot with two points each.
Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings played two matches each so far in the tournament and out of which they both won and lost one game each.
DC will be heading into this game on the back of a defeat against Rajasthan Royals in their previous game. The new captain Rishabh Pant looks in fine touch while the openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw also went all guns blazing in their first match of the season which is a good sign for Delhi.
PBKS will be entering into this game on the back of a forgettable loss to Chennai Super Kings in their last match. KL Rahul, Deepak Hooda and Chris Gayle looked in good rhythm in the first game while their new recruit Shahrukh Khan saved their team from a low total in the second match. Their top order and middle order looks dependable at the moment which is a good sign.
In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, PBKS has the upper hand as they beat DC on 15 occasions and lost against them 11 times in the past. In the previous fixture between the two teams, Punjab won the match by five wickets.
