In the 10th match of the Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore will be playing Kolkata Knight Riders at the MA Chidambaram Stadium at 3:30 PM IST. RCB has acquired the number one position with four points while KKR has occupied the sixth spot with two points.
Royal Challengers Bangalore is the only team so far in the tournament who played two games and won both of them while Kolkata Knight Riders also had as many games but won and lost one game each.
RCB will be heading into this game on a positive note as they are on an unbeaten streak in their previous two games and the skipper Virat Kohli will aim to continue the form. AB de Villiers performing in the first game while their new recruit Glenn Maxwell performing in the second fixture is a good sign for Bangalore ahead of the big tournament.
KKR will enter into this game on the back of a loss to the Mumbai Indians. They lost their previous match from a winning position. Andre Russel’s form with the bat might be a big concern for Kolkata. The Knight Riders’ top order has contributed well in the first two games which is a positive sign for the Shahrukh Khan owned-team.
In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, KKR has the upper hand as they beat RCB on 14 occasions and lost against them 12 times.
