Chris Martin Accidentally Falls During Coldplay Concert

Coldplay's lead singer, Chris Martin, had a close call at their final show in Melbourne's Marvel Stadium when he accidentally fell through an open trapdoor on stage. This happened on Sunday, and fans caught it on video and in photos.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Greg Briggs, Chris Martin was interacting with the audience and accidentally walked backward into an open trapdoor. The crowd gasped as he fell, but someone inside the trapdoor quickly reached up to help break his fall.

Addressing this Cris said, " That wasn't planned. Thank you for catching me so much. Thank you guys, holy s***, that was a YouTube moment." The video was shared with the caption, "The moment Chris Martin fell through a trapdoor right in front of me at the #Coldplay concert tonight."

Last month, while performing at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena, singer Olivia Rodrigo accidentally stepped into a small opening on stage. She quickly assured fans, saying, "Oh my God! That was fun, I’m OK! Sometimes there’s just a hole in the stage, OK… now, where was I?"
