Legendary cricketer and former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar tests positive for the COVID-19 on Saturday. Tendulkar has revealed that apart from him everyone in his family has tested negative. The 47-year-old cricketer has mild symptoms despite taking all the precautions and he has quarantined himself. Tendulkar announced this unfortunate news through his Twitter handle.
Tendulkar thanked health professionals for their support. His fans, followers and members from the sports fraternity have been seen wishing the legendary cricketer good health.
The former Indian skipper was seen in action earlier this month in the Road Safety World Series, he captained India Legends and helped his team in winning the tournament. Players like Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan were seen along with Sachin. India legends lost just one match throughout the season and beat Sri Lanka Legends by 14 runs in the finals.
