SC East Bengal will be playing Kerala Blasters at the Tilak Maidan in Vasco, Goa, on Friday for the Indian Super League fixture at 7:30 PM IST. SC East Bengal has acquired the ninth spot with 10 points while Kerala Blasters has acquired the 10th position with nine points.

SC East Bengal played 10 matches out of which they won twice, lost and drew four games each. Kerala Blasters also had 10 games, they won two games, lost five fixtures and had a draw in three games.

East Bengal beat Bengaluru FC 1-0 in their previous fixture, an early goal from Matti Steinmann sealed the game for Bengal. A comprehensive win in the previous fixture will be a huge boost for Bengal.

Kerala Blasters are also coming on the back of an emphatic win in their previous match against Jamshedpur FC. A brace from Jordan Murray helped Kerala Blasters to clinch the match.

It’s a tie between the two teams in the head-to-head competition as both teams faced each other just once, which was in a reverse fixture earlier this season. The game ended in a draw.

Anthony Pilkington has recovered from an injury and has been seen training for East Bengal. Pilkington might start the game on the bench. East Bengal is unlikely to undergo any changes for their upcoming match.

Kerala Blasters will miss the services of Lalruatthara in the next game due to the suspension which he received after his red card in the last game. Bakary Kone is doubtful for the game.
