Bengaluru FC will be playing SC East Bengal for the Indian Super League game on Tuesday at the Tilak Maidan at 7:30 PM IST. Bengaluru FC has acquired the eighth spot with 15 points while SC East Bengal has occupied the 10th position with 13 points.
Bengaluru FC played 14 matches out of which they won three games, lost five and had a draw on six occasions. On the other hand, SC East Bengal also had 14 games, they won twice, lost five and drew seven matches.
After an ordinary start to the ISL season, SC East Bengal has been moving upward lately. They find themselves at the 10th spot but they can get closer to the top-four with a few victories in the upcoming games.
Bengaluru FC is yet to register a victory in their previous seven games. They lack depth and cohesion in their squad. Bengaluru FC needs all the three points to go ahead of Chennaiyin FC who are currently at the seventh spot.
In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, SC East Bengal clearly has the upper hand as they won seven games and lost to Bengaluru FC on four occasions. The last encounter between the two teams took earlier this season and SC Bengal came out victorious by the margin of 1-0.
Raju Gaikwad might be returning to the starting line-up after recovering from an injury. Milan Singh and Ajay Chhetri will be accompanied by Matti Steinmann in the midfield. Sarthak Golui and Sourav Das are available for selection.
