Igor Angulo initiated the first goal of the match in the 20th minute through a penalty and gave a comprehensive lead to his team. Hugo Boumous levelled the score in the 38th minute and made the game interesting just before the first half concluded.
Saviour Gama netted the ball in the 59th minute and FC Goa went 2-1 up in the game and looked confident in the fixture. Three minutes later Mumbai City FC settled the score with a goal from Mourtada Fall. Mumbai’s fighting spirit restricted Goa to a 2-2 stalemate. Tonight’s game awaits a decisive winner and both teams will be bringing their A-game to book a berth for themselves in the ISL 2020-21 Final.
In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, FC Goa has an upper hand as they beat Mumbai City FC on seven occasions and lost to them on five instances while four games have ended in a draw.
After being suspended in the first leg, Amey Ranawade will feature in the upcoming clash against Mumbai City FC. Hernan Santana could also be in the lineup for the Islanders.
Seriton Fernandes and Princeton Rebello are injury concerns for the Gaurs. Ivan Gonzalez and Alberto Noguera will return to the Goa squad after completing their suspensions.
