Bengaluru FC will be playing NorthEast United FC at the Tilak Maidan in Vasco on Tuesday at 7:30 PM IST for the Indian Super League fixture. Bengaluru FC has acquired the sixth position with 12 points while NorthEast United FC has occupied the seventh spot with 11 points.
Bengaluru FC played 10 matches out of which they won and drew three games each and lost on four occasions. NorthEast United FC, on the other hand also played 10 fixtures, won two games, lost thrice and had a draw on five instances.
NorthEast United haven’t won a single match in their last six games. Gerard Nus will be thinking of getting his team back on the winning track.
In their previous fixture, NorthEast lost to Hyderabad FC 4-2. They levelled the scored 2-2 at one point before going two goals down. Liston Colaco’s late brace ensured that NorthEast commences the match without a point.
On the other end, Bengaluru couldn’t manage to win a single game in their last four fixtures. They lost to East Bengal 1-0 in their previous game.
In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, Bengaluru clearly has the upper hand as they beat NorthEast United five times out of the nine games they played against each other. NorthEast United were victorious once while three games ended in a stalemate.
Kwesi Appiah has concerns regarding injuries and is unlikely to feature for NorthEast United. Dylan Fox is likely to come into the side to play along with Benjamin Lambot in defence.
For Bengaluru, Harmanjot Khabra will be back from suspension. Leon Augustine could be replacing Udanta Singh while Kristian Opseth could be starting the upcoming game as well.
