Rohit sealed the game for the hosts with a six at mid-wicket in Joe Root’s over.

The Indian openers stayed unbeaten throughout the chase and clinched the game with no difficulties. In the third session, 38 runs were scored in 5.4 overs at the run rate of 7.04 runs per over.
