Girl Groups LE SSERAFIM and NewJeans Caught in Rift Between HYBE and ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin

The rift between entertainment powerhouses HYBE and ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has escalated, dragging their respective popular girl groups, LE SSERAFIM and NewJeans, into a heated tug-of-war over alleged preferential treatment.

Min Hee Jin's initial allegations accuse HYBE of granting preferential treatment to LE SSERAFIM over NewJeans, despite promises to the latter group. She claims that HYBE overlooked NewJeans' management while prioritizing LE SSERAFIM, sparking scrutiny from netizens who have noticed discrepancies in the treatment of the two groups. Notably, Bang Si Hyuk, the founder and chairman of HYBE, has never posted a picture with NewJeans members, unlike other HYBE groups.

Amid the controversy, an old video featuring LE SSERAFIM members has resurfaced, adding fuel to the fire. The video, from February, shows LE SSERAFIM's Sakura and Yunjin appearing on Eunchae's Star Diary, where they received a fan question about their relationship with Bang Si Hyuk. The members sent personal messages to Bang, with Yunjin receiving a response after 38 minutes, Sakura after 39 minutes, and Eunchae after 40 minutes.

While initially well-received by fans, the resurfaced video has intensified backlash, with many interpreting Bang Si Hyuk's close relationship with LE SSERAFIM members as evidence of preferential treatment. This revelation has further fueled outrage over the alleged mistreatment of NewJeans by HYBE.
