Netflix To Release Male Version of “Hotel Del Luna” with Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si in Talks

Fans of Hotel Del Luna, get ready for a new twist—Netflix is bringing a male-centered version of the 2019 hit, and it’s already creating buzz. Titled Grand Galaxy (working title), this upcoming drama by the famed Hong Sisters is being positioned as the “male version” of Hotel Del Luna, and the casting choices are already sparking interest.

Originally led by IU and Yeo Jin Goo, Hotel Del Luna followed a high-end hotelier who ends up managing a supernatural hotel run by a mysterious and captivating owner. This time, the story is expected to flip perspectives, with a male lead at the center of the drama, exploring new dynamics and themes in the same ghostly hotel world.

In January, actress Go Min Si was reportedly offered a role in Grand Galaxy and is said to be positively reviewing the offer. She’s no stranger to intense roles, and viewers are already curious about the kind of chemistry she’ll bring to this new story. Adding to the anticipation, actor Lee Do Hyun has also been offered the male lead and is currently considering it.

What makes this possible pairing even more exciting is their history together. Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si previously played siblings in Sweet Home (2020), then turned romantic in Youth of May (2021).
