Actress-dancer Lauren Gottlieb shares a throwback memory of having a conversation with young actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The conversation goes back to the year 2016.  In the conversation, he said, “The switch from television to films was difficult but I survived because of choices,” read a part of Sushant Singh Rajput’s sweet and sour text.

As per the sources, it is anticipated that Sushant was going through depression which led him to take the drastic step of ending his life. His unprecedented death had left everyone stunned and heartbroken. Police say that investigation in Sushant’s case is underway.

Amidst investigation, a few web portals recently stated that Sushant’s psychiatrist, Dr. Kersi Chavda, had said that the late actor regretted breaking up with Ankita Lokhande as the many relationships that he later got into failed. Chavda was slammed heavily for allegedly breaching confidentiality. However, the therapist, in a long social media post, has scrapped the rumor. He said that he had not even made a statement in the case.

On Monday, Lauren revealed the WhatsApp chat she had with Sushant Singh Rajput back in April 2016 in the form of several screenshots on Instagram. Sushant was shooting in Budapest and had terminated filming MS Dhoni: The Untold Story when the conversation took place between the two actors. Earlier she had shared a eulogy for the Kai Po Che actor.

The conversation between the two was mainly about “surviving” in the film industry despite being “outsiders.” It has been presumed that Sushant Singh Rajput was confronting a boycott in the B-Town after his blockbuster hit movie Chhichhore in 2019.

“If an average looking boy with average talent and strong prejudice can make it, trust me anything is possible…I am not being modest, I am good because most of the ones around are mediocre. But for me, it’s a long way to go.,” In the chat, Sushant tried to encourage Lauren. By giving an instance of himself and his struggle he faced in the journey from moving to film from television.

She had a good connection with Sushant as both were outsiders in the industry and have struggled to prove themselves. She wrote a long note while sharing the screenshots. The note reads, Today, I finally brought myself to look at my WhatsApp messages with Sushant over the years. I came across one conversation that broke my heart all over again, as it was filled with so much love, kindness, and true support for one another’s dreams! I felt a deep connection with Sushant as we were both “outsiders” and I looked up to him tremendously!”

She further added, “I wanted to share this chat we had to remind everyone to walk, talk, and treat everyone with this great amount of love and support as he shared!… I do not want to tell anyone how to grieve, my process this week looked pretty ugly, but I think one of the best ways to honor his legacy is to be the bright, beautiful, loving light that he exuded each and every day. The world is a better place because of Sushant’s humble heart. Let’s keep sharing his magic and be kind to one another.”
