This monsoon is certainly a season of love with the release of its romantic song ‘Baarish’ which features Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s lead couple, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan. The pair has worked together for the very first time in a music video.

The video has been directed by Arif Khan who has beautifully captured the sensuous and enigmatic story of a couple who are currently in a long distance relationship. Rain plays a central theme in the album.
Excited about the release of Baarish, Shivangi Joshi stated “It was an elating experience shooting for Baarish. I loved this track as soon as I heard it as it’s extremely relatable and it also captures the essence of monsoon’s. VYRL Originals has done a great job with this song and it’s for sure to leave an everlasting impression on our audience.”
Talking about their debut music video Mohsin Khan stated “Baarish is a light-hearted song with simple sweet lyrics. When VYRL Originals made me hear this track for the first time it immediately brought a smile to my face. I really thought my face would perfectly match Stebin’s voice although I’m sadly not lip syncing in the music video. Kudos to him and Payal Dev for doing complete justice to Kunaal Vermaa’s lyrics. The song is about a couple missing each other who are recapping their happy monsoon memories in a light-hearted cheerful zone. Their longing for one another only grows, as the video unfolds to a very pleasant surprise towards the end. It is also about these little surprises we give to the people we care about. Shot in a lovely location with a lot of flashbacks, consisting a lot of Ruthna Manaana… I am glad to make my music video debut with this soulful track. It was quite a refreshing experience and I am positive that the song as well the music video will bring smile to our audiences.”
