Ranveer Singh ventured into Bollywood with Maneesh Sharna’s start-up wedding planner film Band Bajaa Baraat along with Anushka Sharma. Ranveer Singh charmed the audience as the good-for-nothing changed into a responsible owner of a wedding planning company in Delhi, Bitoo Sharma. The comedy drama went beyond trade expectation and was the sleeper hit of 2010. Ranveer Singh got into a character of a womanizer who cons the female to extract money out of them. The brilliant actor once again collaborated with Maneesh Sharma in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl which was yet another commercial success in 2011. 2013 saw Ranveer Singh as method actor when he impressed everyone in Vikramaditya Motwane’s adaption on The Last Leaf by O.Henry, Lootere, along with Sonakshi Sinha. 2018 was the best year of Ranveer’s career. The highly-energetic actor proved his mettle playing the role of Allauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical drama Padmaavat. Padmaavat became his highest grossing film minting a staggering Rs 300 crores, making Ranveer a household name.
2018 ended on a grand note as his first collaboration with Rohit Shetty, Simmba, became his second film to cross the 200 crore milestone. Ranveer Singh gives in a knock-out performance with his quick-witted one liners, charming attitude , romantic avatar , shows off his well-sculpted torso without inhibitions.
