While the trailer of Godzilla Vs Kong had generated a solid views (71 million), Warner Bros have done a good job in promoting the film over social media. The Hollywood monster attack film generally do well in India but with increase in the number of cases and restrictions put up in few cities might prevent Godzilla Vs Kong to make an impact at the India box office.

Godzilla Vs Kong is getting a good response in Mumbai even though it is the hardest hit with COVID-19 cases as the trend shows that more than 60% is in the fast filling mode. The Delhi region is decent with 30-40% in the 4DX version but the IMAX and 2D version is slow. Like Delhi, Bangalore is showing a good response in 4DX version. In Hyderabad, 4DX version is already sold out while other versions are still slow. Chennai is a hot-selling cake for IMAX 2D version and Pune still needs to show some traction. As per analysis based on the trend, Godzilla Vs Kong has the chance to score some where between Rs 4-5 crore.

Godzilla Vs Kong will be the fourth film in the series of third film in Legendary’s Monster Verse series.
