Melon Music Awards 2020 announced its “Top 10 Artists”. Here is the list of winners!! Heartily congratulations, talented kings and queens.

  1. BTS

BTS superstars made the pandemic-ridden year of 2020 bearable for ARMYs by dropping music bombs. Their latest album, BE, is sweeping charts yet again with the main track “Life Goes On” reminding everyone this too shall pass.

2.  IU

IU celebrated her 12th anniversary in September of 2020, she is the most successful female solo acts in Korea. Her appearance on Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook and her dramas had won the hearts of K-pop fans and also TV viewers.

3. Kim Ho Joong

Kim Ho Joong t Trot singer firstly came to stardom after his appearance on the show Mister Trot. He had charmed the trot-genre fans with his opera-based vocal skills.

4. Baek Yerin

Vocalist Baek Yerin sold out her first concert “Turn On That Blue Vinyl” in February 2020. She is one of the hottest female solo acts in the nation and her unique voice makes her glamorous.

5. OH MY GIRL

K-Pop’s rising girl group OH MY GIRL re-wrote their history in 2020 as their NONSTOP album’s main title “Nonstop” which reached #1 on the Melon chart for the first time since their debut.

6. Zico

Zico the member of Block B who made his own entertainment agency. It recently merged with Big Hit Entertainment. His multiple talents in rapping and singing are just high rocketing since his debut.

7. Lim Young Woong

Trot singer Lim Young Woong who appeared on Mister Trot, became a legend after he conquered the trot throne as the show’s finalist. Lim Young Woong has been sweeping TV commercials with his charms.

8. Baekhyun

EXO member Baekhyun gains huge success this year. His music “Candy” became a record-breaking hit. He is also one of Korea’s most beloved YouTubers who gains his huge victory in 2020.

9. IZ*ONE

IZ*ONE had a shaky start to 2020, halting their promotions in light of the Produce 101 series’ voting manipulation controversy but still, the group stayed strong. IZ*ONE is set to disband in April 2021, but K-Pop fans remain hopeful for an extension.

10. BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK has been filled with quality album drops and increased TV appearances which made this girl gang pretty savage.
