Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas, fresh from completing filming for the highly anticipated movie Heads of State, turned heads in Rome as she celebrated Bulgari's 140th anniversary and the unveiling of their high jewelry collection, Aeterna. The opulent event was hosted at the Terme di Diocleziano, a heritage wonder recently opened to the public, and featured a dazzling show and gala dinner.

Among the notable attendees were brand ambassadors and friends of Bulgari, including Shu Qi, Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra, and Liu Yifei.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, in particular, captured the spotlight with her chic new bob hairstyle and the Serpenti Aeterna necklace, valued at an astounding $43 million. This exquisite piece, boasting approximately 140 carats of diamonds, is one of Bulgari's most valuable creations.

The Serpenti Aeterna necklace took 2,800 hours to complete and features a rough diamond of over 20 carats, cut into seven pear-shaped drops that collectively weigh 140 carats—symbolizing each year of Bulgari's history. These drops are intricately set within a sinuous, three-dimensional wave structure adorned with 698 baguette diamonds totaling 61.81 carats.

Chopra Jonas complemented the necklace with an off-shoulder cream and black gown by Del Core. She was seen holding a bouquet and mingling with guests, radiating elegance and charm.

Bulgari, paying homage to its Roman heritage, chose Rome as the backdrop for unveiling their collection and hosting the celebration. The event included a gala dinner and a spectacular show styled by legendary stylist Carine Roitfeld. The collection featured over 500 creations, including high jewelry, watches, bags, and fragrances, marking a significant milestone for the Roman Maison.

In addition to the festivities, Bulgari introduced the Bulgari Digital Passport, a digital record that stores the unique characteristics and certificates of each high jewelry creation on their private blockchain, ensuring transparency and security for their products.
