Janhvi Kapoor graced the runway as the showstopper for this head-turning collection by the ace designer. The actor wore an opulent ensemble comprising of an eclectic blue lehenga, a matching strappy blouse and a sheer cape dupatta resting on her shoulders. The shimmery outfit featured intricate embroidery and fine craftsmanship. She ditched other accessories and let the outfit do all the talking.

On the same night, designer Tarun Tahiliani presented his collection ‘For Eternity’, an ode to the quest of making timelessness in craft, couture and art, eternal.

“We live in a world where everything happens a million frames a second, and our connection with time-honoured traditions ebbs and flows, but it is often lost. That connection beckons time and again yet something beautiful happens when we lean into the voice of tradition—it anchors us in meaning,” he captioned his post.

Through couture, Tahiliani aims to essay a renewed vision that echoes the true essence of the “Indian Modern Women” and “The New Man”. He chose to have no celebrity showstoppers for the show remarking that “it’s time to return to the only star that should be on the ramp, and that is the clothes”.

That’s not all! The fashion week also saw designer JJ Valaya wow the audience with his new collection ‘Baroda’ on day 4. The latest collection is a medley of exquisite craftsmanship of Gujarat and global style statements.
