Shah Rukh Khan is one such superstar from Bollywood who is known for his wit as much as his wonderful acting.
While recently we appreciated his witty sense to reply his fans for #AskSRK, this time, his wit has raised few eyebrows in the recent event of a book launch.
SRK was one amongst the guest for the Book Launch of Gunjan Jain’s book ‘She Walks, She Leads’, which traces the impressive growth and journey of extremely successful women.
While SRK was giving the speech he saw her rise from her seat and so he smiled said,” Please don’t stand up, even if it’s politically incorrect, girls need to lie down when I talk to them. I am joking. Don’t take me seriously. I know just for this I am going to be in trouble now.”
While many just chuckled there was few present who actually raised their eyebrows for the statement made by Shah Rukh Khan.
Lawyer and activist Abha Singh were among the few, who went on Twitter to share her thoughts. She wrote, “Attending a book launch in Taj where SRK said something derogatory about women. Hope media takes it up.”
We hope this doesn’t turn out to be big fuss!
