Anurag Kashyap known for his directorial content is now exploring acting and work under some other director. He said, "I don't play a director's role, 60% people play the role of director when they are on sets. I just direct and just be myself. Even on my sets ask any actor, I never tell them how to act or you you should do this particular scene. I've never in my life have told any actor how to act and they still give me their best. Because I give them space and freedom. I trust them, I empower them and people give their best to me."

On the sensorship and the line of morality for a filmmaker, Anurag said, "I am a person who's against any kind of sensorship. Anything that offends me doesn't mean somebody else can't do it. We have to learn to take it. Stand up comedians are very offensive, there's no comedy without offence. I like dark jokes. I like dead baby jokes. If I have issue with something I will address it with the person. Porn exists in this world, what would you hide, people still watch it hiddenly, keep it open. The sense of shame put in us is our biggest problem. That sense of shame that has been forced in us is used to control us."

Anurag Kashyap is also known for making anti heroes in the Bollywood way early. He added, "I don't make heroes in my film, In my film you will find all the gray characters, hero you won't get ever. aadmi hero apne kaam se banta hain, entry se nahi banta, that's how I see cinema. Hero becomes a hero only when the story ends. because he is hero of his own life. For me there is no supporting character in the story. Cause every supporting character is a protagonist in their own lives."
