Sony Music India has dropped an all-new music video titles ‘Sukoon’ on November 24. The song is about love, heartbreak, and emotion. It is a form of pop music and made by the young generation artist Taaruk Raina. ‘Sukoon’ is Taaruk’s debut pop song. Taaruk is a versatile personality he is an actor, dancer, performer, and singer who is a household face on Indian television, OTT platforms, and films.
In an exclusive interview with Pop Diaries, Taaruk has talked about several things taking from the making of Sukoon to the kind of songs he listens and insight about the Indian music industry. Spilling the beans about how Sukoon happened Taaruk said, “So I and my friend met we our discussing our lives. What we have gone through in the always stays with us. Heartbreak is a very strong feeling and easy to talk about a bad relationship or a good relationship. so we were just talking and came up with the line ‘Mujhme Tujhko Mila Tha Jo Sukoon’ based on the word we designed the music and that’s how it happened.”
Sharing his opinion on global music, the pop artist said, “Everything is becoming more and more global every day and music is the medium that we really don’t need a language. I listen to a lot of English music, a lot of Tamil music sometimes I listen to Korean music as well. I listen to k pop BTS’ music. I had a friend in college who told me about K Pop and suddenly from last year there is the K Pop wave around the world.”
Revealing his opinion on the evolving music industry, Taaruk answered, “I think we have a more refined style now we have modern songs. Also, the songs which have Indian roots the way they are recorded have all evolved. Music is continuously evolving. There is so much variety and it has ridiculously become easy to release a song for anybody.”
