We spoke to actress Debina Bonerjee who revealed her skin routine and also advised a few good tips for millennials who wish to maintain their skin.

Tell us about your skin routine, how do you manage to always look glowing?
-I used to believe that you will look good after applying makeup. But over the period I realised that if do skincare regularly you don’t have to apply makeup. When I was younger my skin was not so good, I used to apply more makeup after the makeup artist goes. It takes practice to reverse our skin. Just the way we brush our teeth amidst the busy schedule similarly taking care of your skin in the morning and before going to bed is important. I follow a morning and night skincare routine without fail. 

Do you think diet plays an important role in maintaining your skin?
-Absolutely. What we eat is important not only for the skin but also for our health. 

Tell us about some dietary foods which will help our skin to be healthy and glowing?
-The moment you wake up, have a glass of green vegetable juice like Aamla, Spinach with a lemon. It cleanses your skin.

Also, do you believe in home remedies? And if yes, tell us something about it
-I do believe in home remedies. If we have time we can use things which are available in our kitchen for taking care of our skin. If you have an Alovera plant at home, apply it. You can use curd for your face and hair as well. After peeling the fruits you can apply them to your face.
