Tom Holland Confirms Spider-Man 4 In Production says, 'It's Happening'

British Actor Tom Holland recently appeared on the Tonight’s Show and shed some light on his next project with Marvel Studios. He confirmed his return as Spider-man in the fourth instalment of the stand-alone film series.

While appearing on the show, the host Jimmy Fallon asked Tom about any possibility of a next instalment, to which he took a long pause before smiling and saying, “Yes. It’s happening.” He declared and stood up to hug Jimmy. He revealed that the film will follow the aftermath of the event of his last film Spider-man No Way Home, and that the production will start in Summer 2025.

"Next summer, we start shooting. Everything's good to go. We're nearly there. It's super exciting. Yeah, I can't wait," he said. The following day, he appeared on Good Morning America, where he shared more information regarding the plot. He shared that the team is close to having a creative storyline worthy of the fans. He said, “Now we feel confident that the idea is strong enough that this is going ahead, we’re going to shoot this summer. The idea is crazy, it’s a little different than what we’ve done before."

In his last project, Tom appeared alongside Zendaya and Benedict Cumberbatch with cameos from Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire from Sony’s Spider-man universe. The Director for this film has been changed from Jon Watts to  Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed  Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. He is also going to shoot for a Christopher Nolan film opposite Matt Damon.

The film hasn’t received a release date, but Marvel has announced seven dates for untitled films and series.
