Veteran Marathi actor Atul Parchure passed away on Monday at the age of 57 after a long battle with cancer. Although he had reportedly overcome cancer last year and resumed shooting, the news of his death has come as a huge loss to the Marathi film industry. Parchure, known for his work in theatre, films, and TV serials, left a lasting impact across all three mediums. He had recently announced his involvement in the theatre drama Suryachi Pillay. His passing is a shocking loss to the industry and his fans.

Atul Parchure played a variety of roles in both Hindi and Marathi TV serials. He starred in popular shows like Ali Mili Gupchili, Honar Soon Mi Hya Gharchi, Jaago Mohan Pyare, and Bhago Mohan Pyare on Zee Marathi. He was also active in theatre and was seen performing in many dramas.

Atul Parchure appeared in several popular films, including Shah Rukh Khan's Billu, Salman Khan's Partner, and Ajay Devgan's All The Best. He was also seen in Bollywood movies like Kyon Ki, Salaam-E-Ishq, Kalyug, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, and Khichdi. On television, he  featured in shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil, Yam Hain Hum, Comedy Circus, and R K Laxman Ki Duniya.
