Samantha Ruth Prabhu & Alia Bhatt Usher in a New Era especially for the women in the Industry

An era defined by honesty, mutual respect, and genuine camaraderie, where we witnessed the remarkable bond between Samantha and Alia at a recent event promoting Alia’s production venture, Jigra, in Hyderabad, where Samantha was invited as a special guest. The event garnered a roaring response, but what truly stood out was the palpable wave of love and support between Samantha, Alia, and their team.

Alia and Samantha stood strong as two power women have come together to prove that betting on yourself is the ultimate showcase of faith. In a business that is otherwise shrouded with a sense of dissent, Samantha’s support for Alia’s film was such a strong symbol of unity - as artists, as entrepreneurs, as women, as believers! 

Alia praised Samantha as a true hero, both on and off-screen, saying, "I have so much admiration for your talent, your resilience and your strength. It's not easy to be a woman in a man's world, but you have surpassed gender. You stand tall in your two feet and you have your talent and your sting kicks to be the example for everyone"

When Samantha took the stage, her admiration for Alia was evident. "I love Alia," she began. "The work that Alia does is so important because she reminds us that we are the heroes of our own stories." She continued, highlighting Alia’s courage in backing her own projects, emphasizing the importance of taking risks on oneself. 

Samantha also spoke about her appreciation and association for every member of the Jigra team and shared instances of everyone’s glory. Right from her Telugu film associations with Trivikram and Rana Daggubati or her experience with director Rahul Ravindran, with whom she’s had an association of almost 15 years. And amidst all of it, Samantha graciously made space and thanked her fans who are like her family. It really was an environment that reverberated with a sense of pride, belief and mutual admiration!
