2024 has seen many box office hits, and as the year comes to an end, a new competition is set to step in the industry. This is based on the impressive performance of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s film Pushpa 2: The Rule.
After a huge opening with Rs 174.9 crore in India across all languages, the movie is still performing strong at the box office, earning Rs 90.10 crore net in India on its second day, according to Sacnilk's report.
On the second day, the movie earned Rs 27.1 crore from the Telugu version, Rs 55 crore from the Hindi version, Rs 5.5 crore from the Tamil version, Rs 1.9 crore from the Malayalam version, and Rs 60 lakh from the Kannada version. Overall, the Hindi version has earned more than the Telugu version, with Rs 125.3 crore from Hindi and Rs 118.05 crore from Telugu.
The film has earned Rs 417.5 crore worldwide after just two days in theaters. On the first day, it made Rs 282.9 crore, and on the second day, it earned Rs 134.6 crore, pushing its total past Rs 400 crore. Pushpa 2 is now the first Indian film to achieve this in the first two opening days.
