One of the most magical thing about kids is their ability to imagine without limits, creating worlds full of endless possibilities. This Children’s Day, Nick India brought this spark to life in Mumbai, encouraging kids to unleash their imagination alongside their favorite Nicktoons, Chikoo and Bunty.

Under the #HappyKidding campaign, Nick India celebrated the boundless creativity of children, making the day unforgettable with fun, laughter, and endless experiences!

The celebrations took place at JBCN International School, followed by Ecole Mondiale World School, where a total 1000 students took part in activities that encouraged them to unleash the power of their imagination.  It began with a collaborative storytelling session, where children added their own twists to an open-ended story, creating surprising narratives. As the stories unfolded, students brought their unique ideas to life on a one-of-a-kind Imagination Wall, where students illustrated and expressed their most unique ideas through drawings and words, bringing their creativity and perspectives to life - free from any judgment. Chikoo and Bunty, treated like friends by the students, joined in on the fun with playful activities and photo sessions, making the day even more memorable.

“Our partnership with Nickelodeon for the #HappyKidding campaign added a special spark to our Children’s Day celebrations,” said Mr. Davi Sanchez Netto, Principal JBCN International School Parel. “The joy of Nicktoons and storytelling brought smiles to our learners and reinforced our dedication to joyful, creative learning.” He added.

Jonathan Martin, PYP Coordinator, Ecole Mondiale World School said, “If there is one thing Ecole Mondiale World School and Nickelodeon have in common, it is their commitment to unleashing the boundless creativity in every child, and what better way to do this through an enchanting story weaving experience. Our students had a blast as they took their story through amusing twists and turns. The icing on the cake was the opportunity to interact with the adorable Nicktoons Chikoo and Bunty who really helped our students embrace the excitement of being a child on children's day. This collaboration served as a joyful reminder of the infinite capacity of children to not just create fascinating narratives, but of their ability to even rewrite the future.”

This initiative is part of Nick’s ongoing #HappyKidding campaign, a program designed to keep the essence of childhood alive by celebrating curiosity, creativity, and the spirit of fun. With #HappyKidding, Nick aims to foster an environment where kids can freely express themselves, ask questions, and enjoy the joys of play and discovery.

The #HappyKidding celebration will continue in multiple cities, including Delhi and Ahmedabad, where thousands of young imaginations will take centre stage. This unforgettable event left lasting memories, giving each child a reason to feel proud of their perspectives - a perfect celebration of Children’s Day.
