According to recent reports, actors John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra are set to reunite in director S.S. Rajamouli's upcoming film, tentatively titled SSMB29. John Abraham has reportedly replaced actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who was initially considered for a role in the film. This project also features Mahesh Babu in a leading role.

In response, Mahesh Babu dropped a witty comment, quoting a famous line from his 2006 blockbuster Pokiri: "Once I commit, even I don’t listen to myself. The film is written by Vijayendra Prasad and directed by Rajamouli. Further details about the cast are still under wraps.
John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra previously shared the screen in the 2008 romantic comedy Dostana, directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Dharma Productions. The film also featured Abhishek Bachchan in a key role.
The film is set to be a high-octane jungle action-adventure spanning multiple locations worldwide. The first installment is slated for release in 2027, followed by the second in 2029. Production is expected to kick off with a puja ceremony in January
