The film’s ensemble cast includes BAFTA winner Naomi Ackie (“The End of the F***ing World,” “Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody”), Channing Tatum (the “Magic Mike” films, “The Lost City”), Golden Globe winner Christian Slater (“Mr. Robot”), Simon Rex (“Red Rocket”), Adria Arjona (“Andor”), Kyle MacLachlan (“Fallout,” “The House with the Clock in Its Walls”), with Oscar winner Geena Davis (“The Accidental Tourist”), and Alia Shawkat (“Drift,” “Search Party”).

When tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise. Wild nights blend into sun soaked days and everyone's having a great time. No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. There is something wrong with this place. She’ll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out of this party alive.

The team shot at a challenging location, which offered some challenges including intense heat and a lot of rain, but the experience, despite the serious subject matter, was incredibly fun for Kravitz and the actors. While they would depart for the weekends, during work they would all stay in the Hacienda. It added to the dynamic of the group scenes. Talking about creating a safe space for the cast, Kravitz says, "If people weren't working they would still hang out. We had many group conversations about what this story meant, why we were making it, and why it was important to make. The men really asking how they can show up and take care of the women throughout the process, the women thanking the men for being a part of this process and for really going to an uncomfortable place in order to tell this story. We were all very much on the same page there."

Narrating his experience, Tatum adds, "Fridays were amazing because we would all just sit out on the lawn and play music and listen and all the crew would go home and we would just have this whole place to ourselves. I don't think I've ever experienced a movie like it. We all just lived with each other and kind of became housemates in a way."
He further explains that the whole cast went into the production with "open eyes" and an "open dialogue." "Those conversations were always led by Zoë, and one of our producers, Tiffany Persons. They were the perfect people to navigate this stuff. And you know, as fun as the movie is, it definitely has a very serious theme underneath it all."
