Right when the audience wanted more of Karan, he went on to foray into Bollywood and became one of the very few television stars to break into the silver screen. He did that at a time when moving from one medium to another was a challenge. He marked his film debut in 2008 but rose to fame with 'Alone', which starred him with his now wife Bipasha Basu. His recent release 'Fighter' has brought him another level of fame, success and spotlight.

But becoming a popular face in films didn't stop Karan from returning to his maiden medium of entertainment. In 2019, Karan made a triumphant return to television with his role as Mr Rishabh Bajaj in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2'. He made waves with his digital debut in 'BOSS: Baap of Special Services', followed by his gripping performance in the web series 'Dangerous' in 2020. He also returned to play his iconic role of Asad in the web-series version of his television series 'Qubool Hai'.

On the work front, Karan played Captain Sartaj 'Taj' Singh in the blockbuster 'Fighter', which has crossed over Rs 350Cr at the box office, making him one of the actors to be part of a film that is ruling the box office and earning moolah. Here's hoping that the actor continues to amaze his audience and keeps showing off his versatility on screen.
