Rajeev Siddhartha played the role of a chef in Love, Sitara. Sharing his thoughts on the character and the preparation behind it, he said, " He's (chef) a very idealistic person, he's a very principled man, he's a very non-judgmental person. So it was very interesting playing him because I've never had the experience of working in a kitchen before. When I got this part, thanks to the director she pushed me and the producers I trained for one and a half months at Farzi Cafe at Phoenix Mills. I spent one and a half months cutting, chopping, plating, and cooking.  Three-four hours a day I used to go there every day and I was to be in the kitchen."

He further added, " When the chef is in the kitchen, it is like a match.I think the training really, really helped me and actually imbibing the body language and the temperament of a chef."

Sharing the experience about working with his two co-stars Asha Negi and Sobhita Dulipala Rajeev expressed, " Both of them are very giving as actors. Both of them are very collaborative as actors and when I'm acting with both of them It's all about we both are working for the scene because we know if the scene is good, then the film will be good."
