Former South Africa cricket captain AB de Villiers has retracted his recent revelation regarding Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma expecting their second child. De Villiers admitted to sharing false information on his YouTube channel, clarifying that Kohli's absence from cricket is due to personal reasons, not family matters.

In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, de Villiers acknowledged his mistake, stating, "Family comes first, it's the priority. I made a terrible mistake by sharing false information." He emphasized Kohli's right to prioritize family and wished him well for his return to cricket.

De Villiers' initial disclosure had sparked widespread speculation about Kohli's absence from the Indian cricket team. However, his retraction has added a layer of uncertainty to the situation, leaving fans and pundits questioning the true reason behind Kohli's extended break.
