ngland will be visiting India for a two-month tour for 4 Test matches, 5 T20Is and 3 T20Is. India will be entering into this bilateral series on the back of a historic Test series victory against Australia on their soil. England is currently playing a two-match series in Sri Lanka. The tour will commence from February 5.
The hosts will be aiming to clinch the upcoming Test series to maintain the topmost position in the Test Championship points table. The first two Test matches will be played in Chennai from February 5 and February 13. The third Test will be a day and night match, it will be played in Ahmedabad on February 24. The last match of the Test series will take place on March 4. After the longest format, the two teams will move to the 20-over format, all the five T20Is will be played at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad from March 12 to March 20.
The final series of the tour will be the 3-match ODIs, the 50-over format will be played in Pune on March 23, 26 and 28 respectively. India will host the first international bilateral series since January 2020.
