Juventus will be welcoming Dynamo Kyiv on December 3, Thursday at Juventus Stadium at 1:30 AM IST for the UEFA Champions League fixture. The visitors have acquired the number three spot with a point while the hosts are just a spot above with nine points in Group G.
Juventus had four games till now in the tournament so far, they were victorious on three occasions and lost once, while Dynamo Kyiv is yet to win a game, lost thrice and had a draw once. Dynamo Kyiv isn’t good with their defences in the UEFA Champions League and also lost by a margin of 4-0 to Barcelona last week. The Ukrainian giants will have to face Ferencvaros for a spot in the Europa League and hope for a favourable outcome from the match.
On the other hand, Juventus are six points behind AC Milan in the Serie A after a 1-1 draw against Benevento over the weekend. Juventus is three points behind Barcelona in their group.
In the head-to-head competition between the two teams, Juventus has the clear advantage as they beat Dynamo Kyiv in four matches out of the total five fixtures they had against each other. Dynamo Kyiv is yet to beat Juventus in an official fixture and need to put a great performance to defeat the Bianconeri this week. The last encounter between the two teams took place last month. Juventus beat Kyiv 2-0 with a brace from Alvaro Morata.
Cristiano Ronaldo has an issue with a minor ankle injury. Giorgio Chiellini and Merih Demiral have returned but are unlikely to start this game. AC Milan is considerably ahead of Juventus in the Serie A, Andrea Pirlo will use his best players conservatively against Dynamo Kyiv. The two teams have no issues regarding suspensions.
