Here are our recommendations of some exciting international titles available on Netflix that can be enjoyed in Hindi:

Based on a series of novels, Locke & Key is an American horror drama that appeals to both teens and adults. The series proceeds with the three Locke siblings and their mother moving into their ancestral home following their father’s death, to discover magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death.


○ Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

A dark drama about a teen girl with magical powers, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is an adaptation of the “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”. The series revolves around Sabrina Spellman struggling to balance her dual nature – half-witch, half-mortal – while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her familyand humanity.

This drama/thriller follows Marty Byrde, a financial planner who relocates his family from Chicago to a summer resort community in the Ozarks. In a gripping story, the 2020 action movie Extraction is about a mercenary sent to Bangladesh to rescue the son of an Indian drug lord from the Bangladeshi drug lord. From missions to plot twists to betrayals to urban warfare, the movie delivers an excellent action thriller.

○ The Protector
The Protector revolves around the life of a young man who learns about his connection to an ancient secret order. In an action, fantasy, sci-fi packed Turkish drama, the series unfolds with this man setting out to save the city from an immortal enemy.

● Family
○ Lost in Space
Released in 2018, Lost in Space follows the Robinson family, who after crash-landing on an alien planet, fight against all odds to survive and escape. The two seasons show the family navigating through twists and turns. Surrounded by hidden dangers, they must find their way to safety for them all.


○ A Series of Unfortunate Events
Based on the best-selling series of books by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler), this series follows the tragic tale of three orphans — Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire — who are investigating their parents’ mysterious death. Saddled with an evil guardian named Count Olaf (portrayed by Emmy-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris), the siblings try to outsmart him at every turn to keep their inheritance.


○ The Willoughbys:
This animated film follows the Willoughbys, four old-fashioned siblings who are neglected by their parents, send them off on a “dangerous vacation” and then take one of their own. Accompanied by their new Nanny, they venture out into the modern world for some much needed action and adventure and discover the true meaning of family.


○ Klaus
A simple act of kindness always sparks another, even in a frozen, faraway place. When Smeerensburg’s new postman, Jesper, befriends toymaker Klaus, their gifts melt an age-old feud and deliver a sleigh full of holiday traditions.

○ The Crown
Spanning across four seasons, The Crown is a lavish drama that chronicles the life of Queen Elizabeth II (Played by Claire Foy and Olivia Colman) from the 1940s to modern times. The series begins with an inside look at the early reign of the queen, who ascended the throne at age 25 after the death of her father, King George VI. As the decades pass, personal intrigues, romances, and political rivalries are revealed that played a big role in events that shaped the later years of the 20th century.


○ Narcos

This gritty series tells the story of the rise of the cocaine trade in Colombia and the gripping real-life stories of drug kingpins of the late ’80s. Focused on the Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, the show highlights the action taken by law enforcement as they try to curb the drug war and take down various cartels.


○ Mindhunter
Inspired by true events, Mindhunter follows FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench as they probe further into the psyches of those who have done the unthinkable. With help from psychologist Wendy Carr, they apply their groundbreaking behavioral analysis to hunting notorious serial killers.
