Diljit Dosanjh has a COVID 19 reference in his latest music video Clash

When it comes to entertaining his fans with class apart music, there is not surpassing multi talented singer Diljit Dosanjh. He has been making huge waves of excitement among his fans with his worldwide trending album G.O.A.T, which has not only broken multiple records but has once again proved that the global phenomenon will stop at nothing when it comes to treating his fans with good music.

Not giving a single dull moment to those who love his work, Diljit Dosanjh released the music video of his track Clash giving everyone a glimpse of his swag and style. However, there is a very peculiar thing in this video which is bound to give a moment of thought along with a sense of amusement to his fans. In the video, Diljit is seen rescuing a girl in a pub from a rowdy man. When the girl extends her hand for a shake to thank Diljit, the swagger singer first gives her a sanitizer and then proceeds with a handshake. This clear reference to the importance of health and hygiene in times of COVID 19 found a special way in Diljit’s music video.

Interestingly, the entire G.O.A.T album was recorded and released during the lockdown period, with the video shoot resuming after restrictions were eased. However, Diljit, along with his team, practiced social distancing to the hilt.

“Everyone says this is the new normal and why not show it in a video which could be the reality in today’s culture. I think it was a fun thing to add the video and also goes on to say that meeting a beautiful lady is nice but health comes first,” says Diljit with a smile.

Meanwhile G.O.A.T continues its rise in the list of music lovers. The album had started trending on number one spot in seven countries within 24 hours of its release. It also eventually started trending in 26 countries on various digital platforms. A pleasant surprise came when Diljit Dosanjh’s name appeared as the top Digital artist in India on the prestigious Kworb list. However the greatest of all time surprise was when Diljit Dosanjh was placed at the Times Square Billboard in New York and eventually also featured in Billboard’s Social 50 list along with other globally renowned names such as Nicki Minaj, BTS, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and many more.
