In the 3rd T20I of the England tour of India, the visitors won the toss and chose to field. The home team managed to set up a below-par target of 157 for their opponents. In reply, England chased down the total by eight wickets with 10 balls to spare, Jos Butler anchored the chase and took his team home single-handedly without any difficulties.

The third T20I was played on the red soil which offered pace and bounces for the pacers. The English bowlers took full advantage of the pitch conditions and exploited the Indian batsmen with the pace and bounce without providing any room. The Indian team failed to score in the powerplay as they managed to gather only 23 runs at the loss of three wickets. It was only the Indian skipper Virat Kohli who managed to survive the wrath of the English bowlers and got accustomed to the techniques followed by the opponents.

England didn’t face any issues while batting while facing the Indian bowlers. Bhuvineshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur weren’t able to optimize the pitch conditions which provided pace and bounce. The Indian pacers went wicketless while Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal managed to grab one wicket each.
