On August 23, Bihar police arrested Kajal Kumari for the murder of her three-year-old daughter in Muzaffarpur. The crime, which has shocked the community, was allegedly inspired by the TV show "Crime Patrol." According to Muzaffarpur Superintendent of Police Awadesh Saroj Dixit, Kumari was involved in an illicit relationship and planned to leave her husband for her partner, who reportedly demanded she leave her daughter behind.
Kumar allegedly executed her plan by slitting her daughter's throat, packing the body in a suitcase, and discarding it in the backyard of her home. The suitcase was discovered at Janki Ballabh Shastri Lane, prompting an investigation. Initially, the police registered a case against unidentified persons, but Kumari's inconsistent statements eventually led to her confession.
The police have seized the weapon used in the crime and are continuing their investigation into the motive and circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
