As per reports, hurricane Beryl, originating in the Atlantic Ocean, has intensified with maximum sustained winds reaching speeds of 210 kmph.

The Category 4 hurricane was recently noted to be around 570km east-southeast of Barbados. It is anticipated that operations at Bridgetown's airport will halt this evening.
Initially, the Indian team planned to travel via an Emirates flight from New York, with a layover in Dubai.

"The team was scheduled to depart from Bridgetown to New York and then continue to India via Dubai. However, the revised plan is to arrange a charter flight directly from here to Delhi. There is also discussion about a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi," disclosed a source.
