Not giving hopes to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru but yes the team can still qualify the IPL 2024 playoffs with some desirable circumstances and results from the other teams and their fixtures. RCB is now at number seven with 8 points in their account out of 11 matches they have played till now.
This time the points table is full of uncertainities as not just RCB but many other teams are still not sure for their playoffs qualification and that includes Chennai Super Kings who are at number 3 in the points table with 12 points. While Hyderabad, Delhi & Lucknow joins CSK in the points table with 12 points from number four respectively. All these four teams with same points in their account make the competition for the playoffs tough. Except Delhi Capitals the other three teams have 3 matches left to play in the league stage.

If these teams lose most of their remaining matches then RCBs way will be clear to the playoffs! BUT, one thing RCB has to make sure that they also win all their remaining 3 matches to get atleast 14 points by the end of the league stage. We have seen many teams qualifying with 14 points in the past, KKR in 2021 got their way to playoffs wit 14 points, SRH & RCB in 2020 & even in 2019 Hyderabad qualified for the playoffs with 12 points.
Bengaluru's chances are still up with the uncertain conditions in the points table and powerpacked performance by the team. Faf Du Plessis and co. has recently made their comeback in the tournament with 3 consecutive wins, breaking their loosing streak and boosting the confidene in the players. Virat Kohli's unbeatable form and Siraj coming in the groove will be the highlights for the team meanwhile if Maxwell comes back in the form on this crucial note RCB can dominate any team easily.
Just like their fans Royal Challengers Bengaluru should not lose hopes to qualify for the playoffs in this season & make the league stage more entertaining than some predictable teams in the top four.
