Team India's captain and Mumbai Indians star player Rohit Sharma has been benched in today's match of Mumbai Indians against Lucknow Supergiants. The star batter is said to be hit on the knee in nets. Rohit Sharma is struggling with his poor form in IPL and has scored just 21 runs so far in 3 matches.
Hardik Pandya at toss said, "Rohit was hit on the knee during practice . He is missing out." Will Jacks will open for Mumbai Indians with Ryan Rickelton and Tilak Verma will be their impact player as they have opted to field first. Mumbai Indians captain Hardik has also shared update on star pacer Jasprit Bumrah when he was asked about him. He said Bumrah will be back soon.
