Biopic on Cricket Legend Yuvraj Singh Revealed: Key Details Inside

On Tuesday, T-Series Films announced Yuvraj Singh's biopic on Instagram and X. The film, tentatively titled Six Sixes, will highlight the cricket star's incredible journey from World Cup champion to cancer survivor.

On Tuesday, T-Series Films announced Yuvraj Singh's biopic on Instagram and X. The film, tentatively titled Six Sixes, will highlight the cricket star's incredible journey from World Cup champion to cancer survivor.

The makers tweeted, "Experience the legend's journey from the cricket field to the hearts of millions — Yuvraj Singh's story of determination and triumph is coming soon to theaters!"

T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, famous for films like Animal and Kabir Singh, is teaming up with producer Ravi Bhagchandka to bring Yuvraj Singh's story to the screen. Ravi previously produced the 2017 Sachin Tendulkar documentary, Sachin: A Billion Dreams.

 the film will highlight a memorable moment from Yuvraj Singh's career when he hit six sixes in one over against England's Stuart Broad during India’s 2007 T20 World Cup win.

The film will also cover Yuvraj Singh's key role in India’s 2011 World Cup win, where he was named Player of the Series. It will depict his cancer diagnosis in 2011, his fight against the illness, and his comeback to cricket in 2012. Yuvraj retired from international cricket in 2019.

On this Yuvraj said, "I am deeply honored that my story will be showcased to millions of my fans across the globe by Bhushan-ji and Ravi. Cricket has been my greatest love and source of strength through all the highs and lows. I hope this film inspires others to overcome their own challenges and pursue their dreams with unwavering passion.”
