The Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) has given medical & fitness update on star five players who are playing on International level for the country. These five players are currently undergoing rehabilitation at the NCA in Bengaluru.

The Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) has given medical & fitness update on star five players who are playing on International level for the country. These five players are currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

The two fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna are in the final stages of their recovery and are bowling with full intensity in the nets, says the BCCI Statement. “The duo will now play some practice games, which the NCA will organise. The BCCI Medical Team is pleased with their progress and will make a final decision after assessing them following the practice games,” BCCI stated.

On the other hand, KL Rahul is back in the nets along with Shreyas Iyer and currently undergoing strength & fitness training. The BCCI Medical Team is satisfied with their progress and will increase their intensity in terms of both skills and strength and conditioning in the coming days.

India’s most anticipated player, Rishabh Pant has made significant progress in his rehabilitation. He has commences batting as well as keeping in the nets. He is currently following a fitness programme designed for him which includes strength, flexibility and running, BCCI stated.
