Chennai Super Kings while defending 188 runs against Rajasthan Royals choked the middle order and won the match with big difference of 45 runs.
Moeen Ali and Ravindra dismantled Rajasthan Royals’ middle-order dismissing Chris Morris, Riyan Parag, David Miller, Jos Buttler, and Shivam Dube in quick succession in Rajasthan Royals’ 189-run chase. Sam Curran dismissed RR captain Sanju Samson and Manan Vohra early on.
Buttler and Vohra started well for Royals but Vohra lost his wicket at the end of Power-play. While centurian Sanju Samson got caught by Bravo, he scored just a single run. After scoring century in the first match Samson couldn’t manage to score atleast ten runs in next two.
Buttler and Shivam Dubey tried to build a partnership but after Jos hit a six in stands the bowl got changed and with the dry ball comes in Dhoni started playing games around. His spin duo Jadeja and Moeen Ali turned the match in middle overs as Ali the sixth bowler of team took 3 wickets off 7 runs while Jadeja took 2.
Later on CSK continued choking the lower order and registered another victory with big difference of runs which will surely effect on their net run rate in the league points table.
