Chelsea will be welcoming Brighton and Hove Albion for the Premier League fixture on Wednesday at the Stamford Bridge at 12:30 AM IST. The hosts have acquired the fifth spot with 54 points while the visitors have occupied the 16th position with 33 points.

Brighton managed to win two games in their last five fixtures and are one of the relegation contenders. A win against Wednesday’s opponent will improve their position in the Premier League standings.
In the head-to-head competition between the two teams in the last 14 matches, Chelsea clearly has the upper hand as they beat Brighton 12 times and had a draw twice. The Seagulls beat the Blues once in 1933 since then Chelsea has won all the fixtures between the two teams.
Apart from Andreas Christensen and Mateo Kovacic’s absence, Chelsea has no issues regarding injuries in their upcoming fixture. Chelsea might see a couple of changes in their next game after they beat Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final.
Aaron Connolly’s return could be a positive note for Albion ahead of their big game against the Blues. Solly March and Tariq Lamptey remain a long-term injury while Percy Tau’s fitness seems doubtful.
