Bollywood’s well-known figure, Orry (Orhan Awatramani), along with seven others, has been booked by the Jammu and Kashmir Police for allegedly drinking alcohol near the Vaishno Devi shrine. According to a report on Monday, the police have filed an FIR against all eight individuals for consuming alcohol in a restricted area in Katra.
As per report , among the accused is a Russian national, Anastasila Arzamaskina, who joined Orry and his group in Katra. An FIR (No. 72/25) has been filed at the Katra Police Station, naming Orry, Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritick Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and Arzamaskina as the main suspects. They face charges for violating the District Magistrate’s order and allegedly offending religious sentiments.
“As per police, FIR was registered against eight people, including socialite influencer Orhan Awatramani aka Orry, for allegedly consuming alcohol in a hotel located in Katra.” The Cottage Suit area in Katra, where the group is accused of consuming alcohol, enforces strict regulations prohibiting non-vegetarian food and intoxicants because of its close proximity to the Vaishno Devi shrine, one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in Hinduism.
A Reasi Police officials informed, "A special team, under the supervision of SP Katra, Dy SP Katra, and SHO Katra, was formed to investigate the matter. Notices will be sent to all accused individuals, including Orry, instructing them to join the probe. SSP Reasi has reiterated that anyone violating the law, especially by indulging in activities like alcohol or drug consumption at religious sites, will be dealt with strictly."
