Fans of HYBE groups have been protesting against the company's support for Palestine, particularly targeting HYBE America CEO Scooter Braun. The protests, including in-person demonstrations, aim to pressure the company to sever all ties with Zionism.
Despite the release of new content from their favorite idols, fans have maintained their boycott against HYBE, leading to tangible impacts. The recent OST album for BTS J-Hope's Hope On The Street documentary saw a decrease in sales, totaling 467,000 in the first week according to the Hanteo Chart, a drop of around 70,000 from previous sales.
While some expressed mixed feelings over the boycott's effectiveness, many fans remain steadfast, underscoring the importance of their message.
Others, however, were disappointed by the results, calling for continued support for their favourite groups.
